Athlone Energy Ltd. is a Canadian energy company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "ATH".

Athlone is led by an experienced management team with a successful track record in oil and gas exploration, and corporate development.

Athlone is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in western Canada. Since early 2004, Athlone has relied upon the drill bit to build its production from less than 50 barrels oil equivalent per day (boepd) to the current level of 700 boepd. The Company's production base is comprised of 90% heavy oil and 10% gas. Athlone has a 100% working interest in all of its core heavy oil assets.

Athone's objective is to continue increasing revenue by drilling in western Canada and explore both domestic and foreign acquisition opportunities.
